This Volunteer Release and Waiver of Liability (this “Waiver”) is entered into by and between ThoughtSpot, Inc., a Delaware corporation (“ThoughtSpot” or the “Company”), and the individual accepting this Waiver (“Participant” or “Volunteer”) in connection with the Company's inaugural R.I.S.E Global Impact Week volunteer program scheduled to take place June 8–12, 2026 (the “Program”).
Participant acknowledges and agrees that participation in the Program and any related volunteer activities is entirely voluntary. Participant freely and voluntarily chooses to participate and understands that Participant may decline or withdraw at any time without penalty.
Participant expressly assumes all risks, known and unknown, arising out of or related to participation in the Program, including physical exertion, outdoor elements, tool use, transportation, allergens, and interaction with third parties.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Participant hereby releases, waives, discharges, and covenants not to sue ThoughtSpot, Inc., its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any and all claims arising out of or related to participation in the Program, including claims for personal injury, bodily injury, illness, death, or property damage.
ThoughtSpot has not vetted or approved any self-sourced activities. Participant assumes all risks associated with self-sourced volunteer opportunities and agrees that the release in Section 3 applies with full effect.
Participant grants ThoughtSpot the irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide right to photograph, film, and otherwise capture Participant's image and likeness during the Program and to use such Media for corporate communications, marketing, social media, press releases, and employer branding purposes.
Participant agrees to follow all safety guidelines, use required protective equipment, report incidents immediately, and conduct themselves professionally at all times.
This Waiver is governed by the laws of the State of California. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Santa Clara County, California.
If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
By checking the acceptance box, Participant confirms they have read this Waiver in its entirety, are at least 18 years old, and agree to be bound by its terms. This checkbox acceptance constitutes an electronic signature.
Participation is entirely voluntary. The assumption of risk does not indicate voluntary acceptance of risks arising from Released Parties' negligence. The media release is subject to applicable data protection legislation (including UK GDPR for UK-based Participants).
